Peters aim is continual improvement, in his words “I want to create a thriving hockey club, with a coaching environment that suits all players – recreational to performance.

Tony is a certified England Hockey Coach and has been coaching for over 10yrs at all levels and all age groups.

Having had 4 children himself he knows what works and his joy is coaching kids and the achievement it brings.

Heidi is a Hockey certified coach . Been lead coach for U14 G’s for the last 4 years. which she has loved .

As she says “It’s great seeing the transition as kids rise from the juniors into the adult teams.

James qualified as a coach in the mid-1990s, Following qualification he coached adults for a couple of years, then he spent 5 years helping run the boys U14 / U16 teams until he migrated to the USA for 6 yrs. On his return (2012) he has been coaching all genders and all levels throughout the club latterly focusing on the U10 boys and U12 girls.

His quote “There is no happier moment than when something you have taught, and thought had fallen on deaf ears, suddenly comes alive. “I thoroughly enjoy my coaching and am very fortunate to have worked with some very talented children, and some awesome coaches!”

Martin (the one on the right) says (in his words) “I am enthusiastic but unqualified. I have been shadowing the EH qualified club coaches for 3 years and I now do a good impression of a respectable coach”. 

Again in his words “the energy, joy, technical development, team spirit and firm friendships I have seen our girls develop over the last 3 years reflects the benefits of our great club and the sport of hockey for children”
