If you were born between the 1st September 1997 and 31 August 2001 and live or go to school in Waverley Borough sign up now for Surrey’s Youth Games.

The Surrey Youth Games is the largest annual youth sport event in Surrey - all eleven Districts and Boroughs in Surrey enter teams into thirteen different sporting events.
There are events for all ages, including events for young people with disabilities, with all events taking place over the weekend of 18 & 19 June at the Surrey Sports Park, Guildford.

There are four training sessions to form three Waverley hockey teams to compete on the 18/19 June:-

• School Years 5 & 6 Mixed Team (Under 11 & 12s)
• School Years 7 & 8 Girls Team (Under 13 & 14s)
• School Years 7 & 8 Boys Team (Under 13 & 14s)

The first training session is scheduled for this Friday, 13th May at Broadwater School (6.30-7.30). Goalies are especially welcome.

Unfortunately if you are already playing for another Surrey Borough or playing in another sport at the Games, or were selected for an Academy Hockey team this year, you are not eligible to participate in the Surrey Youth Games.

Please contact Christina Hales, Waverly’s Sport Development Officer (01483 523368/07810 853463) for further information and to register for the Games.
