Having had a very difficult season thus far, the Mens' 2nd XI recorded a stunning victory last Saturday against the League leaders, Richmond. Behind 0-2 within the first twenty minutes of the game, the team fought back bravely and shrugged off the loss of Jason Moore who had five stitches inserted in a head wound.

The culmination of a fine team performance was a superb penalty save from Jack Daniels. Play then went down the other end and, happily, Neil Dodson converted a stroke to give HHC a 3-2 win.

Another couple of victories and what seemed like inevitable relegation a week or so ago could become a great escape. If we have good availability, this is a definite possibility, so come on the 2s!
